There's No Such Thing As A Happy Accident!

It seems that in the last couple of months, everybody and their sister has had a baby or is about to have one. In a lot of those cases, the pregnancies weren't planned but "happy accidents." I call bullshit. There is no such thing as a happy accident. Personally, I feel like that's something people say to convince themselves that they are happy about their irresponsibility. Yeah, you're not fooling me. 

I realize that this may come across a bit callous but I'll tell you why I feel this way. I don't know about the rest of you but if you watch any television at all, you realize that there are a million commercials about different methods of birth control. A million. You can't watch 20 minutes of television without one coming on. They want you to pop a pill OR put on a patch OR insert a ring OR use a damn condom.

I know I'm not the only one seeing this on television. I don't understand how people can fix their mouths to say, It just happened.  To them I say......HOW?!? Have you never heard of Plan B? I just don't get it.
